Apple waney edge/live edge Coffee table.
It doesn’t get more natural than this! This is probably the most characterful piece of wood I have ever worked with.
It has everything, soft wood, cracks, knots, beautiful grain and a truly unique shape with some wonderful lines along the waney edges.
No power tools used on this to ensure the character and features weren’t damaged, this one is completely hand crafted.
Finished with a mat organic oil to keep it as natural as possible whilst protecting it and bringing out the natural beauty in the grain.
Raw steel, hairpin legs give an industrial contrast and contemporary finish to the natural wood.
Everything about this piece has been kept as natural as possible, it’s as close to using a living tree as a coffee table as you’re going to get!
