Made from tiger walnut, it has stunning natural beauty with its stand out grain and medullary rays. It has a lovely warm brown tone to it
I saved this piece from the scrap pile as it had some giant cracks and holes at one end. I filled all of the cracks and holes with black resin to create this coffee table and although I am very biased, Ii think the end result was definitely worth it.
It has some lovely detail on the live edges, again showing off some beautiful grain and medullary rays, packing in tons of character on this little waney edge coffee table.
I used a matt organic oil to finish it, bringing out the natural beauty of the wood features and waney edges but still being hard-wearing enough for daily use.
Completed with steel, black hairpin legs to match the resin, legs can be changed to different height, style and colour, please message me to ask.
