Chunky, one whole piece of oak. The grain on this has a lovely pattern that reminds me of flowing water, with some delicate medullary rays in parts. I have left some of the bark in two small areas on the waney edges, giving it even more character than usual.
There is a deep green resin river running through this piece, which gives it a real point of difference and the colour works well as a contrast to the natural oak colourings.
Finished with a hard-wearing sem-gloss to bring out the natural beauty in the grain and allow for plenty of daily use.
Green, steel, hairpin legs to match the resin and give it a bright and interesting look, but can be changed if they don't work for you!
