This large oak dining table has some of the most characterful waney edges (and the longest and thickest!) I have seen.

This incredible, very large, piece of oak boasts all you could want, varied and colourful grain, running right through the length of the piece, beautiful knots and cracks to give it really unique character and, I’ll say it again, the most wonderful waney edges I have seen. The cracks have been filled with a black resin to make it practical (no one wants their dinner getting stuck in the cracks!) as well as providing a lovely contrast of black against the warm brown tone of the wood. A real statement piece.
The matt finish gives it a natural look, whilst being very hard-wearing for plenty of daily use you would expect on a dining table.
The steel cross legs give it a contemporary, elegant look and match the black of the resin.
